Nagasawa Fountain Pen PenStyle KOBE Cider [Limited Edition]

Nagasawa's new series "Kobe HASSHO Series". (HASSHO = Origin)
This series is based on the culture and historical background of Kobe.

The first model, "KOBE Cider", is inspired by cider, a carbonated drink that is now part of the daily life of Japanese people.

Cider has a long history, and in 1875 it was sold under the nickname "Teppo-sui" (water with a sparkling aroma) at Arima Onsen (Hot Spring) in Kobe, one of Japan's three most famous hot springs.
There is also an anecdote that carbonated drinks that could be considered the prototype of cider were sold at the foreign settlement that opened at the same time as the Meiji Restoration.

Cider originated in Kobe and other parts of Japan, but Kobe played a major role in making cider a popular drink among Japanese people.
It is fascinating to wonder how the Japanese people of that time enjoyed this drink, cider.

The Kobe Origin Series "KOBE Cider" recreates the pleasant fizzing sensation in your mouth and the refreshing coolness in a single fountain pen.
It will bring back memories of childhood, sipping ice-cold cider on a hot summer's day and enjoying the cool breeze accompanied by the sound of wind chimes.

The base model of this fountain pen is Platinum Fountain Pen's “Century #3776”.
The nib is 14k gold.
It is engraved with a weathercock, one of the symbols of Kobe.
