Nagasawa Bungu Center will celebrate its 142nd anniversary on May 15, 2024.
To commemorate this, we will be releasing a commemorative fountain pen this year as well.
The 142nd anniversary commemorative fountain pen is the "Rokko Midori" with an urushi (lacquer) body and a naginata nib.
*Midori: Meaning of Green
This fountain pen has an urushi body and a naginata nib, giving it a calm and luxurious design.
The deep green of our original fountain pen ink "#1 Rokko Green" is expressed in transparent urushi.
This fountain pen allows you to fully enjoy the feel that sticks to your hand, which is unique to urushi.
The nib is a naginata pen point that has been sharpened into a unique shape.
Naginata is a nib suitable for beautifully writing kanji with many Tome, Hane, and Harai characters.
You can draw thicker lines when you lay the pen down, and thinner lines when you hold it upright.
The nib is engraved with a weathervane, which is a characteristic of Nagasawa Bungu Center's original fountain pens.
The tail plug has a serial number engraved on it and will be delivered in a special paulownia box.
