Nagasawa Bungu Center is pleased to release the "Mugunghwa Purple Pink Fountain Pen," an original fountain pen inspired by Korea's national flower, the Rose of Sharon (Mugunghwa) flower.
In Korea, the Rose of Sharon flower is a flower that symbolizes overcoming the harsh cold and heralding the arrival of warm spring, and has long been beloved by the Korean people.
In 2022, Nagasawa Bungu Center released the Kobe INK Monogatari "Mugunghwa Purple Pink," inspired by the Rose of Sharon flower.
While retaining the worldview of the ink, the pen features a lovely purple color reminiscent of the Rose of Sharon flower, expressing a sensibility that warmly embraces the heart of the holder.

Nagasawa Fountain Pen "ENGRAVE -kou-" [Limited Edition]
This fountain pen "Engrave -kou-" is a fountain pen that was created as a homage to the "PenStyle Memo -kai-" released in 2011.
It inherits the ray-carved body and is subtitled "kou" because it is engraved with "Engrave" meaning carving and the lattice pattern (Koushi-gara).
"Engrave -kou-" is a limited-edition model that inherits the ray-carved body from the previous model.
This fountain pen is designed to be used daily while also adding a touch of elegance to your hand.
The combination of heavy metal and resin with different textures allows you to enjoy the contrast of the materials.
The length when stored is 117.8mm, which is shorter than a typical fountain pen, but by attaching the cap, it becomes long enough for writing.
The 14k nib is engraved with a weathervane, a feature of NAGASAWA's original fountain pens.

It's a dark brown with a strong reddish tint.

It's a dark greenish brown.
This dyeing color was given its name because it was commonly used by the kabuki actor of Edo (present-day Tokyo) who succeeded Segawa Kikunojo II.
