Nagasawa Shosai-Kobako (study small box)

"Shosai-Kobako (study small box)" was released to commemorate Nagasawa's ink "Kobe INK Monogatari" becoming 50 colors.
This small box can set 4 Kobe INK Monogatari.
It will surely become a small wooden box that suits your study.

The top lid has space for one Kobe INK Monogatari and a fountain or glass pen.
By setting your favorite fountain pen and accessories, you can feel like a great writer.

There are two colors, Tobi-iro and Roko-cha.
Paulownia is selected as the material so that you can enjoy the beauty of the wood grain, and the color is applied with a spray finish that allows you to enjoy the moderate luster.

[Tobi-iro]
It's a dark brown with a strong reddish tint.
Since the beginning of the Edo period in Japan, it has been favored mainly by men as a representative color of “brown”. This color name was given because it resembles the color of the feathers of the tobi, a bird of the Accipitridae family.

[Roko-cha]
It's a dark greenish brown.
This dyeing color was given its name because it was commonly used by the kabuki actor of Edo (present-day Tokyo) who succeeded Segawa Kikunojo II.
