“Kissho-san Tamon-ji (temple)” in Tarumi, known as one of Kobe's representative flower spots, is a temple with a long history said to have been opened by Jikaku Daishi during the Heian period.
It is said that Jikaku Daishi brought back from China and planted nearly 3,000 persimmon Kakitsubata (Japanese iris) in Benten Pond in the precincts.
This color expresses the beautiful and graceful color that has been handed down in the city of Kobe since ancient times with a light purple that gives a feeling of peace.
