The Yurie Pen Case is made from beautiful 100% pure silk fabric woven by Konkan Shoten, a venerable weaver in Nishijin, Kyoto.

The fabric produced by real silk weaving gives off a mysterious aura depending on how the light hits it.
The string used to wrap the pen case is a traditional Japanese "kumihimo" cord.
The color of the ball at the end of the cord is a cute accent.
