[What is Kodachi? ]
This is a special nib made by fountain pen nib craftsman Yukio Nagahara of The Nib Shaper.
Yukio Nagahara is a former pen doctor for Sailor fountain pens.
Mr. Nagahara's kodachi is equivalent to the naginata of Sailor fountain pens, and is a special nib that allows you to write kanji such as tome, hane, and harai beautifully.

Kodachi is a custom order item.
Based on the fountain pen you purchased, we finish by customizing the nib to the Kodachi specification.
After receiving your order, we will request Mr. Nagahara to process your custom order. Normally, it will take about two weeks from order to shipping.
Please read the following notes carefully before placing your order.

*Delivery date varies depending on order status.
*We will process the base fountain pen to match your desired kodachi character width. Therefore, the character width engraved on the fountain pen and the actual Kodachi character width are different.
*The base Fountain Pen has a thicker character width than the Kodachi character width.
If the base fountain pen you order cannot be processed by Kodachi, we will change the nib. Thank you for your understanding.
